At Penn State University, I studied with the most prominent researchers, writers and thinkers in the philosophy of Art and Education. In order to receive both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Art Education, along with philosophy and educational theory I spent seven years learning the crafts and the skills of what I would be teaching. Hence, I am a silversmith, sculptor, painter, photographer, ceramicist, “Toy Theater-maker”, and performance and installation artist. I have practiced all those disciplines for the past 40 years.
Although I write a very complex Artist Statement for all of my work, I have purposely omitted that document from this survey of my work. It is my privilege to present to you some of those pieces in this very abbreviated collection. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I have in making them.
